Biography

Before joining PLF, Mr. Tran Van Hoang worked at a Law Firm listed under Legal500, specializing in licensing, investment, business, and foreign workers. Since 2019, Mr. Hoang has been working as a Junior Associate at PLF and works at the office in Ho Chi Minh City. He has been in charge of investment, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, foreign labor. He also looks after other activities of enterprises such as contracts, in-house, and compliance of foreign clients from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and Lithuania.

Participated in consulting for a company with 100% Vietnamese capital operating in the field of telecommunications. Worked on issues related to force majeure events due to the Covid-19 pandemic in a telecommunications equipment purchase and sale contract with a value of up to 5 million USD.
Participated in in-house consultation for a 100% Vietnamese invested company producing medical gloves related to compliance and consulting on internal legal issues with a total investment value of up to 11 million USD.
Participated in in-house consulting for 100% Japanese-invested companies doing business in the field of trade and textiles with a total investment of up to 3 million USD.
Participated in consultation services and applied for a license for a 100% Malaysian invested company doing retail business of software and hardware products with a total investment of up to 300,000 USD.
Participated in consultation for the establishment of a company with 100% Singaporean investment in the field of E-sport with a total investment capital of up to 50,000 USD.
Participated in consultation service and worked on behalf of 100% Singaporean owned companies with the customs office related to the license to import scrap as production materials with a total investment of up to 2 million USD.
Participated in consultation and applied for a license for e-commerce floor services for a company with 100% Vietnamese capital with a capital-raising platform connecting investors. The value of total investment was up to 130,000 USD.
