Updated October 2023 – Vietnam offers a wealth of job opportunities for foreigners. Therefore, obtaining a Permanent Residence Card (PRC) is the key to unlocking a world of possibilities. A permanent residence card (PRC) is a document issued by an immigration authority to a foreigner who is allowed to reside indefinitely in Vietnam and is valid instead of a visa.
In this guide, we provide you insights into Permanent Residence Card eligibility criteria and required documents in Vietnam.
1. Eligible cases
Based on the amount of investment in projects/companies in Vietnam foreigners (investors) will be granted Permanent Residence Cards ranging from DT1 to DT3 as follows:
