On April 4th, 2024, Mr. Bui Cong Thanh, Managing Partner at PLF Law Firm, participated in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2024 organized by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, held in Ho Chi Minh City. In a significant development, a constitutional amendment approved at the previous AGM in 2023 was formally ratified. This amendment extends the term of the executive board from one to two years. As a result, the next general executive board elections will be held during the 2025 AGM.
This fosters greater stability and continuity in leadership, enhancing Vietnam’s attractiveness as a destination for foreign investment. Furthermore, it contributes to a thriving business environment and economic prosperity.
