Biography

Mr. Phu Vinh Tran brings over 25 years of experience as a PQE lawyer and a lecturer in international law. He has a broad knowledge base that covers various areas of expertise, including corporate legal, compliance, operational risk, information risk, fraud investigation, and litigation.

Before joining PLF Law Firm as a Partner, Mr. Phu Vinh Tran joined the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association as a barrister/solicitor in all levels of courts in Ho Chi Minh City, involved in criminal, civil, marriage and family cases since 1997.

Professional Expertise

Professional Experience: legal teaching, researching, and advising.

• 2003 – 2005: Mr. Vinh established Phu Vinh Law Office, providing consultancy and litigation services to individuals and organizations in the legal field.
• 2005 – 2012: He advanced his career laboring as a legal interpreter for the the Crown Court, the Magistrate Court, the Local Police, the Law-firms, and Social Services in the United Kingdom.
  Mr. Vinh gained over four years of experience working for foreign companies in real estate services and consumer finance as a General Counsel and Director of Legal & Compliance from 2018 to 2022.

Qualifications

• Master of Laws – LLM in International Law from the University of Groningen – The Netherlands (2000)
• Bachelor of Laws – LLB in Economics Law from Ha Noi University of Law (1992)
• Bachelor of Business Administration – BA in Business Administration from Economics University of Ho Chi Minh City (1995)
